I knew I needed to make breakfast rather quickly and I have the perfect recipe! Am I the only one who always thought oatmeal was difficult to make? I was under the assumption you needed to soak the oats first and it was some long process. Oh no! I have a 10 min oatmeal recipe! I can't take credit for this one but Beach Body has a good one here it is
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ tsp. sea salt (or pink Himalayan)
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
Instructions
- Bring almond milk and salt to a boil in medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Add oats; cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Let oatmeal stand for 1 minute before serving.
I used the salt Tuesday morning when I made this and it wasn't bad but I'm not a fan of salt so I wasn't excited about it. Today when I made this I left the salt out and it was so much better. I guess it just depends if you like salt or not. Here is our oatmeal this morning
So delicious! Do any of you have a different oatmeal recipe you'd like to share? If so leave them in the comments and I'll try them out!
Have a great day!
